Davis, Moore, Shearon & Associates, LLC (DMS & Associates) is responsible for project tasks that cover the entire spectrum of the site development process. The firm is competent in the design of site grading, roads, utilities, storm water management, storm drain, and sediment control plans.

It is also experienced in communicating and coordinating with a multitude of participants throughout a project’s life including owners, architects, surveyors, environmental consultants, other engineering discipline representatives, and review agencies to provide solid construction documents and expeditious approvals.

Located in Centreville, Maryland, the company was formed by WM. Thomas Davis, Jr., P.E., Jeffrey Moore, and Kevin Shearon, P.E., LEED AP in April, 2003.

PRINCIPALS IN CHARGE

Wm. Thomas Davis, Jr., P.E.
Mr. Davis is a 1984 graduate of the University of Maryland where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He has held a Professional Engineer’s license in the State of Maryland (MD #17660) since 1990.

Kevin J. Shearon, P.E.
Mr. Shearon is a 1994 graduate of Clemson University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He has held a Professional Engineer’s license in the State of Maryland (MD #200499) since 1999 and in the State of Delaware (DE #16165) since 2009. Mr. Shearon became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2008.

W. Jeffrey Moore
Mr. Moore is responsible for the Information Technologies and AutoCadd drafting standards for the company. A Cadd drafter for over 15 years, Mr. Moore sets high standards for the presentation and clarity of DMS & Associates' construction documents.

KEY PERSONNEL

Richard Davis, E.I.T.
Mr. Davis is a 2002 graduate of the University of Maryland and is currently an Engineer in Training. Prior to receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Mr. Davis worked in the construction industry giving him unique insight and practical experience in engineering design. He is responsible for the preparation of site development plans including grading, roads, utilities, storm water management, storm drain, and sediment control plans.

Carol Jones
Mrs. Jones is responsible for the site landscape plans produced by DMS & Associates. She has been developing landscape plans for over twenty years. Along with her landscape design duties, Mrs. Jones also prepares and/or coordinates Forest Conservation Plans for developing sites and subdivisions. She works closely with environmental consultants in developing the plans to meet State and Local requirements.
